Sunday, September 24th Greyhound lovers around the world will be coming together to celebrate this wonderful breed! This is a joint event with Adoptable Greythounds of Florida Inc!

We will be meeting at 9:00 a.m. at the North City Park (2075 Swan Lane) in Safety Harbor.

Please note that this is a new location we are trying that should provide more shade and more convenient parking.

Please arrive early!

We will take a group photo at 9:15 a.m. and begin the walk at 9:30 a.m.

If you have a favorite Greyhound t-shirt, please wear it!

There will be a check in area under the pavilion. This is 1 mile round trip walk, but you may turn around at any time at your discretion.

Kiddie pools and misting bottles will be ready at the pavilion if your pup (or you) want to cool off. Water and other light refreshments will be available. There are a few picnic tables and we welcome you to bring lawn chairs, blankets, beverages and snacks to eat and share with others if you’d like!

We encourage folks to RSVP via Facebook or email (gcgagulfcoast@gmail.com) to give us an idea of the number of humans and hounds attending.

This is a free event held to promote these amazing hounds!

We’re super excited to see everyone and represent the Tampa Bay Florida area!!! Last year we had the most Greyhounds in attendance in the United States and we’re trying to beat that record!!!

2021 numbers: 105 sighthounds/110 humans

2022 numbers: 109 sighthounds/124 humans
